Management of North Carolina State Fireman’s
Association Fire College
In December 2002 the society entered into a 3
year agreement with the North Carolina State Fire-man’s Association.
This agreement was made for the Society to take over the
management-operations of the NC State Fire College. The college has
been in operation for 75 years and it is actively being redesigned
to better serve the training needs of the future. A fire college
board has been put in place to include representation of the
following organizations: NCSFA, NCSFCA, NCSFRI, OSFM-Training
Division, the Local Host College, Regional DCC area coordinator and
North Carolina Fire-Rescue Commission.
Fire Rescue Instructors Conference
The society is a major financial sponsor for the
Annual conference. This conference is managed by the North Carolina
Department of Insurance Office of State Fire Marshall and the Society.
Other agencies involved in the past years: VFIS, NCFCA, NCARE & EMS,
Volunteer Workers Compensation Fund, Cavins, Inc. and the Local
Community College.
Training materials, clothing, decals, hats and
patches may be purchased through the societies sales representative
