2008 NOMINATING COMMITTEE REPORT

The following is the report of the 2008 Nominating Committee for the Officers of The Society for the up coming term. All committee members reported in favor of the following,

President Jim Hanline

1st Vice President John White

2nd Vice President Winfield Abee

Recording Secretary Henry Sermons

All four (4) candidates have been contacted and have shown a desire to run for the above offices.

SCHOLARSHIPS: Any person applying for the scholarship shall present an application to the Executive Director not less than 45 days prior to the annual meeting. The Executive Director shall refer scholarship applications to the Scholarship Committee not less than thirty (30) days prior to the annual meeting. Scholarships shall be awarded by a majority vote of the membership present at the fall meeting on approval of the Committee recommendations.

Proposed Change

SCHOLARSHIPS: Any person applying for the scholarship shall present an application to the Executive Director no later than April 1st. The Executive Director shall refer scholarship applications to the Scholarship Committee. Scholarships shall be awarded by committee recommendations with Board approval.
